What would it feel like to unlock your true potential and have a job that fulfils you?

As a career coach, I believe it’s essential to have first-hand experience in the industry helping candidates find the right job for them and supporting companies to hire talent and build teams. For over a decade I have been supporting people just like you to create career changes or land their very own version of their dream job.

Before becoming a coach, I spent over 14 years working in media, HR and as recruitment specialist whilst also pursuing my passion of teaching yoga as my side hustle outside of my 9-5. My experience extends to both agency and internal HR & Talent teams where I worked my way up to Group Talent Partner at a global advertising agency network before moving in-house to become Head of Talent & Inclusion at a leading ecommerce company.

All of this has helped me grow to understand the hiring process inside out from a manager’s and recruiter’s perspective as well as the tools candidates need to stand out. It’s allowed me to become versatile across many different sectors – hiring talent for companies such as Adidas, Accenture and the NSPCC, as well as exciting tech start-ups, leading ecommerce brands and global advertising agencies.

Changing careers can be scary, overwhelming, exciting or a mix of several conflicting emotions at one time! A career change can alter how you portray yourself to the world and can bring with it a sense of questioning your identity. After all, we put so much of ourselves into work that it is only natural to ask “who am I now?” when a career that defined us for years is now longer part of our lives.

I have been there! I’ve completely changed careers (during a recession!), moving from a path I thought I would be on forever to something completely new and terrifying. At the time, I felt defined by my career, working for a national broadcaster on their Breakfast Show but then, after 3 years in that industry, I decided move from Dublin to London to start everything from scratch in a brand new industry.

I also understand what it’s like to land your dream job on paper, after years of striving towards that goal… only to realise that there is a lot more to feeling fulfilled at work than the work itself. In my case, in my early 30s I was head of a department, leading a team at a global brand that I loved but soon realised that something was ‘missing’.

Throughout all of this, I discovered ways to reinvent your career, how to live an authentic life to who you are and step off the ladder onto your unique path. Not to mention the wonderful sense of relief that comes from choosing what work means for you.

My belief is that everybody should have the opportunity to find fulfilment and happiness in work, however that looks and feels for them. My goal is to help you achieve this and feel supported and empowered every step of the way.
